Original Penguin Casual Active Collection
Original Penguin Casual Active Collection has been recently launched by the brand and to celebrate this they teamed up with London great creative minds to shoot an editorial. The very talented menswear photographer – Jonathan Daniel Pryce (Garcon Jon) together with stylist, Chris Benns created a very cool editorial shoot. Both Chris and Jonathan can also be known for being members of the Sartorial 7 team (Sartorial 7).
Latest collection from Original Penguin – the Active Collection – was focused much more on British style. Being an American brand they offer many pieces that fit very well into British aesthetic and style. Previous collection I described here on the blog was all about casual sportswear inspired by the Ivy League and playground style.
Casual Active Collection is all about casual wear for active people and its goal is to serve as day-to-night clothing. And so was the purpose of the photos that Chris and Jonathan shoot. The model is in action and literally hangs in the air. Most of the shots show the shirts, tees and outerwear in movement reflecting its purpose. Fantastic London Skyline was chosen as the background and the rooftop location in Hackney during overcast London day allowed for a very cool and drama-almost shots.
You can see the photos from the shoot below while to have a look at the collection itself or to purchase visit Original Penguin website: http://www.originalpenguin.co.uk/collections-casual-active
