Briston watches

Briston is a French watch brand founded by Brice Jaunet, previously with Cartier, Zenith and LVMH. Briston is a relatively new brand on the market, started in the summer of 2013 in Paris but expanded rapidly to other markets as well. In UK it is now available at Harvey Nichols, Oliver Spencer, Liberty and in-store Selfridges.

briston watchesThere are 18 models in the Clubmaster collection which is divided into two sub-collections based on the material the case is made of. The collection inspired by British vintage racing cars is indeed very stylish. You can spot a nice use of modern materials like Italian tortoise shell acetate which is hand polished. They are quite chic but sporty at the same time. All of the faces are inspired by early 20’s cambered square face. Watches are provided with NATO straps, originally developed for Royal Navy. I am myself a big fan of NATO straps and am using one of my watches very often. I think Army green and navy are very versatile and stylish colours. All of them are naturally interchangeable so you can buy them separately. Collection is available in two faces options: HMS (hour-minute-second-date simple face) and Chronograph with 2 additional counters (60 min on the left and 24h on the right).
