Drake’s London AW14 collection launch
This past Thursday Drake’s London has launched their latest collection. The event was co-hosted by the very talented photographer Jonathan Daniel Pryce who took all the photos for the lookbook. Collection is all about textures and colours. Colours has always been Drake’s big strength but in the last season we see more of seasonal textures in their clothes range. Please see Jonathan’s photos from the AW14 lookbook below.
You can find many wool or shantung ties, cashmere knitwear or woven tartan scarfs. Drake’s significantly expanded their clothes range which now consists items like ties, bow ties, shirts, scarves, pocket squares, knitwear, outerwear, trousers and socks. Plenty to choose from.
The event was attended by many very stylish gentleman of whom I was able to take few photos. I also couldn’t resist and wanted to capture some of the items from the latest collection. All items can be seen here, and you can get them from here. My friend Matthew talking menswear with one of the models Mr Raphael, wearing the iconic C. Kimber pocket square And last but not least great Jamie from Drake’s team. Always a pleasure to see such a well matched outfit. This jacket in green herringbone wool with the denim shirt are one of my all-time favourites. During the event I also met Mr Andreas Feet, a Norwegian, who works in London now and together with his business partner has recently launched a leather accessories brand. Among others, he created an ‘item’ called Holster which you can wear as a vest. It is designed to carry your wallet, phone or credit cards. I haven’t tried it myself but it is an interesting idea and a nice detail.
