Peregrine Biker Jacket

Peregrine Biker Jacket

During this weekend I was wearing the Peregrine Waxed Cotton Biker Jacket called Woodford. It was not the first time as the temperatures started dropping down quite some time ago here in London but first time with some nicer photography.

We went to see the Battersea Park that weekend which is located in the London Borough of Wandsworth, Bettersea being most know probably for the Power Station – soon to be redeveloped.

Anyway, weather was nice enough for us to have a 2h walk. I decided to keep it casual with a waxed cotton jacket, pair of jeans, grey turtle-neck by Uniqlo and these beautiful scotch grain leather boots from Meermin Mallorca. Not too many accessories, only a watch and of course a poppy. Keep it simple and warm but what also very important – appropriate to the weather conditions and your activities. You want a proper boots for walking in a muddy terrain, waxed cotton jacket like mine Peregrine Biker Jacket or similar and the turtle-neck made of fine merino wool. It makes it very light – suitable to wear under a jacket and warm.

The jacket is made especially for Bikers but I like to wear it casually during weekends even when I do not own a bike myself. I find it very practical with many pockets, strengthened shoulders and elbows with patches and a waist belt. The collar is lined with soft moleskin. The jacket also features quilted flannel lining for additional layer ‘warmth’ and is of course waterproof. I haven’t tested it in the rain yet but I will definitely give it a try.

Thanks to its practicality, comfort and nice casual look it is one of my favourite items to wear this season.
