Permanent Style pop up store opening
It is official. Big news for Savile Row and Simon Crompton – author of the leading luxury and bespoke menswear blog. Last Friday Permanent Style pop up store opened and is featuring some exciting brands.
The store is going to be open until 11th of March, so 2 weeks (Tuesday to Saturday). It is located in a very spacious space on Savile Row No 34/35, opposite Huntsman.
There was a big opening on Friday night. As expected the store was packed and the staff quickly run out of drinks (which as you know are essential to a successful launch ;).
As many interesting stores there are in London this one is special because of its special products available. There are Permanent Style Friday polos made in collaboration with Luca Avitabile. There is the latest addition to Simon’s product line – fine knitwear and the brands which are difficult to get anywhere else in London:
- The Armoury (bags, trousers (chino and denim), lapel chains and portfolios)
- Codis Maya – cufflinks
- Fox Brothers – finest flannel in the world
- Stefano Bemer – shoes
- Baudoin&Lange – MTO and RTW slippers
- Hanger Project – menswear accessories
- Luca Faloni – cashmere knitwear
On top of everyday stands there will be Trunk Shows during this time. Luca Avitabile and Luigi Solito (Neapolitan shirtmaker and tailor, respectively) are coming this week (2-4th March), among others.
