Jan Kielman Bespoke – new website
Last year, during my trip to Warsaw in June I have interviewed owner of Jan Kielman Bespoke Shoemakers – Mr Maciej Kielman – and published it here on the blog. Kielman is a renewed Polish shoemaker, said to be the best one, with years of experience.
They have very recently launched a long awaited new web site. It is simple, bright and modern. It focuses on photography and consists of extensive gallery of bespoke shoes produced by Kielman. You can also find a gallery of historical pairs.
The website is also focused on showing a potential customer all available options in terms of leather colours/textures and features a description of the manufacturing process. It is also available in English. Apart from extensive gallery there is a page called ‘Orders’ which helps you take measurements and place an order online. Yes, Kielman offers this kind of service – some effects of this can be found in this thread on Styleforum. I find this option to be very interesting especially considering Kielman prices which start at about 3000PLN ( £550 or 700euro).
